Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Carderia (“Carderia”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and services in Egypt, including on-demand trading card printing and tournament registration with QR check-in (collectively, the “Services”). By creating an account, placing an order, or registering for a tournament, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are & scope

Carderia is currently an unregistered brand operating in Egypt. Our legal entity name is intended to be “Carderia.” We provide: (a) on-demand printing of TCG cards based on user-provided content or selections, and (b) tournament registration and QR-based entry validation. We operate as an intermediary and work with third-party print houses and couriers.

2. Eligibility & accounts

• Account required: You must create and maintain an account to use the Services. Email verification is required.
• Age: Accounts are available to individuals aged 16+. Tournament participation is allowed from 12+ provided a parent/guardian has consented; venues may request ID/guardian contact on entry.
• Accuracy: You must provide accurate information and keep it current.
• Security: You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

3. User content & printing rules

You may upload images or select artwork from supported TCG APIs (“User Content”). You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to print the User Content and that printing it does not violate any law or third-party rights (including copyright, trademark, publicity, and privacy rights). You bear full responsibility for your User Content.

Prohibited content: We do not permit content that is illegal; infringes intellectual property; contains hate speech, harassment, or threats; sexual content or child exploitation; terrorism/violent extremism; or instructions facilitating serious harm or illegal activities.

Limited license: To fulfill your order, you grant Carderia and our partners a non-exclusive, revocable, royalty-free licenseto use, reproduce, process, and print your User Content solely to provide the Services you request. We do not claim ownership in your content.

Automated processing: Our pipeline may perform automatic optimizations (e.g., resizing, bleed, color transforms) to achieve print suitability. We do not manually review files by default.

4. Orders, pricing & payments

• Currency: Prices are shown and charged in Egyptian Pounds (EGP).
• Taxes: Prices displayed at checkout are the total amounts payable for your order. If indirect taxes (e.g., VAT) become applicable under Egyptian law, they will be calculated and shown at checkout and included in your final price.
• Payments: We currently accept online payments via Paymob. By paying, you authorize the charge using your selected payment method.
• Price changes: We may change prices prospectively at any time; the price confirmed at checkout applies to your order.

5. Production SLA & shipping

• Production: Typical production time is 2–5 business days from successful payment and receipt of printable files.
• Shipping: We dispatch via reputable third-party couriers serving Cairo, Giza, and other governorates (e.g., nationwide courier networks). Estimated transit times: 2–5 business days for Cairo/Giza and 3–6 business days for other areas.
• Risk of loss: Title and risk transfer upon courier pickup. We will assist with reasonable courier investigations for loss/damage claims.
• Tolerances: Print and trim tolerances apply (e.g., ±1 mm cut variance and minor color shifts). We aim for consistent, competition-ready quality but exact color matching is not guaranteed.
• Platform availability: We strive to keep services available daily. Maintenance or outages may occur and will be minimized where feasible.

6. Cancellations, returns & refunds

• No cancellation after an order is placed, except where the final print is defective.
• Defects: If you believe your order is defective, contact support@carderia.space within 3 calendar days of delivery with clear photos/videos showing the issue. If verified, we will at our discretion reprint or refund the impacted items.
• User file issues: We are not responsible for defects caused by low-resolution or unsuitable source files. Our AI optimizations do not guarantee recovery of very poor inputs.
• Late delivery: Refunds are not provided for courier delays beyond our control.
• Returns: Returns are accepted only in case of verified defects; otherwise, printed items are final and non-returnable.

7. Tournaments

• Organizers: Events may be hosted by our venue partners. Entry is verified by QR code and/or ID at the door.
• No refunds: Tournament entry fees are non-refundable once registered, even if you cannot attend.
• Eligibility: 12+ with parental/guardian consent where required by law or venue policy; venues may impose additional checks.
• Conduct: Cheating or rule violations may result in a warning, penalties (game/match loss), or removal without refund.
• Prizes: Cash prizes are paid in EGP unless otherwise stated. Winners are responsible for complying with any applicable taxes or reporting obligations.

8. Intellectual property

The Carderia website, logo, and brand assets are protected by intellectual property laws. Except where expressly permitted, you may not copy, modify, or distribute our materials. Third-party trademarks mentioned remain the property of their respective owners.

9. Privacy

Our processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you consent to those practices.

10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly set out in these Terms. Except for liability that cannot be limited by law, Carderia’s total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Services is limited to the amount you paid for the order or tournament entry from which the claim arose.

11. Governing law & disputes

These Terms and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter shall be governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The courts of Cairo, Egypt shall have exclusive jurisdiction. The contract language is English. An Arabic translation may be provided for convenience; in case of conflict, the English version controls.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and, for material changes, provide an in-app notification dialog. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
